Enterprise Integration Services
Data-Core's web technology solutions integrate web front-ends and e-software packages with existing ERP solutions, client-server applications, legacy systems and databases. We utilize multiple integration techniques including data integration tools, message oriented middleware, and workflow automation tools.
With a unique combination of domain, technology and process expertise, we help our clients achieve world class, robust, highly scalable and business process driven EAI architecture to address business requirements.
Data-Core has partnerships with leading middleware framework providers such as TIBCO, webMethods, IBM and BEA to ensure high performance solutions for clients. We provide the following services to our customers in the EAI space:
- Integration Solution Framework
- Roadmap for EAI Implementation
- EAI Project Management
- EAI Tool Evaluation
Architecture & Design
- Middleware Consultancy
- Architecture End to End Solution
- Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts for early architecture validation
Development & Deployment
- Develop methodology, standards and templates to speed up EAI project implementations
- Testing of the EAI solution to ensure that it is ready to meet the usability, performance and security demands
- Legacy Application and Data Integration
This involves integrating backend legacy systems with front-end applications like portals and CRM solutions. Currently, Data-Core’s EAI group provides such solutions using leading EAI tools like IBM WebSphere, MQ/WBI, TIBCO, BizTalk and webMethods. Our expertise in Mainframe, AS/400, databases, and other legacy applications gives us an edge in providing integration solutions for complex integration scenarios.
- SAP Integration
Traditionally, integrating SAP applications with the outside world used to be extremely difficult due to limited interfacing provided by SAP. EAI vendors like IBM and webMethods addressed this business need by providing SAP adapters as part of their integration offerings. Recently, SAP has also addressed this issue through its SAP Net Weaver/XI offering. Data-Core’s dedicated SAP practice has enabled our EAI practice to build capabilities to provide SAP integration solutions, using expertise on both traditional EAI tools and SAP XI.
- Enabling SOA through SOA / Web services / Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
A Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is based on a collection of services that communicate with each other. The services are self-contained and one service does not depend on the context or state of another service. They work within a distributed systems architecture and are platform and language agnostic. SOA-based architecture is currently adopted using an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), a method that is widely gaining acceptance. The ESB provides a non-proprietary integration backbone for applications and services to communicate with each other, providing messaging, message brokering, and service orchestration services using industry standards. Data-Core has significant experience implementing EAI tool-based SOA/ESB solutions.
- Open Source and Standards-Based Integration
There is now a noticeable shift towards Open Source and Standards-based Integration Technologies. Data-Core understands that this is mainly due to the vendor monopolies on integration technologies -resulting in costly solutions, vendor lock-ins, and proprietary technologies. Open Source and Standards-based Solutions mean an increase in development times, but the solutions are light-weight, cheaper, and ensure no vendor lock-in. Data-Core brings experience in consulting, product evaluation, and developing solutions using Open Source technologies like JBOSS ESB/messaging, JBPM, Mule, and JRules; and standard technologies like XML/XSLT/XPATH, JBI, and JMS to name a few.
